nail art is on hiatus while i try to grow them out again :( in the mean time, check out my new craft blog!
Quick and simple vintage rose tutorial:
1/ Start with base color. [I used Essies’ Turquoise & Caicos]
2/ Apply a dab of light pink. Doesnt have to be perfect. [Sinful Colors’ Beautiful Girl]
3/ Using toothpick, lightly line edges with dark pink and add a quick swirl to the middle [China Glaze’s Make an Entrance]
4/ Using toothpick, swirl in a tiny amount of white to the middle [Sinful Colors’ Snow Me White]
5/ With a toothpick, make triangle shapes for the leaves with a green [Sinful Colors’ San Francisco]
6/ Finish with a top coat to bring it all together [I use Seche Vite]
Tips: when using toothpicks, apply a drop of color to a piece of paper. It’s easier to pick up the right amount with the toothpick. Dont swirl too much or you will just end up with a pink dot!
Hope you try it and this helped! :)
thank you so much :D following you on twitter!!!

I love the way this came out. I wasnt planning on making anything out of it but maybe other girls will like!
The quote from Alice in Wonderland is pretty special to me and this is hanging in my bathroom where I get ready in the mornings reminding me to think the impossible before breakfast everyday.
